There are a new set of difficulties facing our veterans returning from service in Iraq and Afghanistan. In comparison to the veterans of WW2, Korea, & Vietnam, service men and women serve longer periods and multiple tours within the armed services. Longer service means more time has passed since the veteran attended school or had a civilian job. Today's newly discharged veteran faces high unemployment rates as they are looking for work and competing for jobs.
